PSA Peugeot Citroen v Racing Club Warwick at Home
The whole of this match was dominated by Peugeot who
just couldn't find a break through. After about 12
minutes Racing Club broke down the left wing and placed
the ball in the bottom corner of the Peugeot goal.
Although Peugeot had all the possession they could not
get the goal they needed and were still behind at half
time.
Half time : 0 – 1
It
was all the same in the second half with Peugeot still
piling on the pressure but chances missed by Ward, King
and Purnell also didn't help. It was 13 minutes to go
when finally Peugeot got the goal, which was slotted
home by Tom Purnell and this gave the team a
massive chance of winning the game. More chances got
Peugeot a corner which was whipped in by Chris Cox and
met the foot of Joe Lowery to give Peugeot a lead with 3
minutes to go to the final whistle.
As
Peugeot were looking for all 3 points, Racing Club beat
the offside trap and a simple lob over Leigh Bell gave
them a goal to steal a draw from a very one sided match
which Peugeot should of had all 3 points from.
Ful time : 2 - 2
Next
match is London Road Lions on Sunday at Ryton.
