The game started
quite evenly with both teams testing each other out.
Peugeot were first to break the deadlock, after both
teams had missed chances, with a fine individual goal
by Matty Watson.
Cov Jag were soon
level from the penalty spot; all square again.
Peugeot took the
lead again not long after when a quick corner taken by
Jordon Wright found Christy who’s curling shot was
helped into the net by Jai.
The lead didn’t
last long as Luke Busby raced clear to score for Cov
Jag and even things up for a second time.
A double from Sean
Kelly 5 minutes before half time swung the game in
Peugeot’s favour. The first, a calm finish after an
excellent through ball from Stevie; the second a
sweetly struck volley on the turn.
Half time :
4 - 2 to Peugeot
The second half
was mostly controlled by Peugeot with 2 goals form
Stevie, both running through the Cov Jag defence to
place the ball into the net, and one from Jordon
Wright; a good passing move and well taken finish.
There were plenty
of missed chance’s in the second half but still a
convincing win for Peugeot.
Full time :
7 - 2
