Sunday 09/10/05 Weddington Thistle v PSA Peugeot Citroen

Peugeot started the game well and carried on for the rest of the first half, which they dominated passing the ball around very well. Sean Kelly opened the scoring with a quality solo effort firing into the top corner from outside the box.

Another 2 goals came in the first 20 minutes thanks to Peugeot’s excellent effort and passing. The first a great strike into the bottom corner from the edge of the area by Matty Watson , the second came from a corner, a good run and strong header by Jai Fivey.

Peugeot continued to put on the pressure and the reward came 6 minutes before half time. Another excellent passing move was rounded off with a cool side foot volley at the far post by Jordon Wright.

In the second half Weddington picked up their game and got their reward 15 minutes in, with Kyle Baxter scoring from close range. This stirred Peugeot into life as they finished the game on top again; Sean Kelly scoring two more well taken goals in the last 10 minutes to complete a very good  hatrick.

A very good performance by Peugeot and a great result !
