Peugeot started the game well creating 4 good chances in
the opening 10 minutes which were all well saved by the
Christ the King goalkeeper. A spirited and determined
performance thereafter by King’s lead to a very tough
tackling and hard working game for both teams. King’s
went ahead just before half time with a well taken goal.

Although Peugeot had plenty of the
ball they found it hard to break through the King’s
defence until late in the game when Sean Kelly scored
the equalizer, a sharp turn and cool finish. A
combination of Peugeot’s poor performance and missed
chances and King’s constant hard work and last ditch
tackles had earned Christ the King an excellent result.
