Cockerels v PSA Peugeot Citroen
A strong performance from Peugeot on a heavy pitch, Peugeot
put Coundon under pressure from the start of the game
which led to them taking an early lead.
A penalty scored by Stevie after an unfortunate handball.
The second came after an even spell in the game Sean
Kelly running onto finish after a great through ball by
Danny. The rest of the first half was a hard battle
especially in the middle where Stevie and Jai were both
making and taking big challenges as both teams looked to
get on top.
Peugeot’s defence were also very strong making challenges
and important interceptions to keep Coundon out. A good
passing move and quick one two with Sean Kelly released
Shaun Kay to score a fine team goal placing the ball
into the bottom corner just before half time putting
Peugeot 3 up.

Peugeot again started the half strongly and were soon 4 up,
a good through ball by Jordon released Stevie to finish
with a powerful shot into the top corner. Peugeot were
now well on top and playing some great football
controlled by Matty and Jordon, leading to 4 more goals.
Danny put Sean Kelly in on goal again for the 5th
before Danny netted himself calmly passing into the net
and past the keeper as did Stevie to complete his
hatrick.
Bullet scored the last with a close range header after a
good passing move and an accurate cross by Danny.
